Painless

Painless is a puzzle platformer with a unique-twist: you're health is always depleting, and movement only makes this worse. As the player, you must consider how to solve puzzles quickly, using that momentum to reach the next "safe-zone".

You play as the Heart, challenging the complexities of 

Heartbreak,

Grief,

and Defense Mechanisms.

We've all been there. We've all lost something. We've all experienced our own journey through these stages. This game is a symbolic representation of that journey, as the  mind and the heart  learn to cope with grief.

This puzzling story will have you  seeking numbed nerves to restore their feeling. The Brain guides you along in his own sarcastic and equally puzzling manner. 

The more you run and jump, the quicker your heart-rate,and  the faster you lose blood. Without blood, you die, the nerves stay numb and the brain, well, he's just disappointed.

Why is the Heart repairing nerves?

Why are they numb?

What's with the Tombstones?

Who is this gray, cry-smiling blob, and what does it have to do with everything?

What about the other creatures?

Hopefully, this painless journey through grief will answer these questions.

Then again, maybe it won't...
